Countertop- Solid Surface Fabricator

About the role

We are currently seeking a skilled Solid Surface Fabricator to join our production team. This full-time role focuses primarily on solid surface materials (such as Corian, Hi-Macs, and Wilsonart), but experience with stone (granite, quartz, Dekton) and laminate fabrication is a significant plus.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate countertops from solid surface material, including cutting, seaming, edge profiling, and finishing.
• Perform sink cutouts, seam preparation (butt, serpentine, mitered), and edge treatments per job specifications.
• Interpret shop drawings and templates to ensure accurate fabrication.
• Use routers, sanders, and other fabrication tools safely and efficiently.
• Inspect finished tops for quality and prepare for delivery or installation.
• Follow established company fabrication standards and warranty requirements (e.g., 1.5" inside radius on mitered seams for warranty compliance).
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Collaborate with installation, templating, and project management teams as needed.

Must have a clean background.

Qualifications

• Experience with solid surface materials (Corian, Hi-Macs, Wilsonart).
• Experience with stone (granite, quartz, Dekton) and laminate fabrication is a significant plus.
• Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and templates.
• Knowledge of proper use of fabrication tools such as routers, sanders, etc.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain a clean workspace.
