Countertop Production Specialist 2nd Shift

About the role

Cutting Edge Countertops operates one of the most advanced and efficient countertop manufacturing facilities in the country, equipped with state-of-the-art technology and automated CNC work centers. Our precision-driven processes ensure the production of high-quality countertops, crafted by a skilled team of industry-leading production specialists. We specialize in delivering exceptional craftsmanship for both residential and commercial projects, from small-scale renovations to large developments. Each day, our team successfully fabricates and installs 50 to 60 projects, maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading materials using overhead cranes and other lifting assists
• Operating saws and CNC machines to cut and manufacture materials
• Operating fabricator-related hand tools used for cutting, grinding and polishing of material
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving any operational issues
• Performing quality checks to ensure fabricated materials meet required specifications

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to lift and move materials up to 70 lbs, unassisted

Skills

• Strong attention to detail to operate machinery and produce quality products
• Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and schematic diagrams
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods
• Basic mechanical skills and an understanding of machinery operation
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset

Pay

• Competitive pay – starting at $19/hour or more based on experience
• Shift differential – earn an extra $2.00 per hour on 2nd shift

Schedule

• Great schedule – no weekends required during normal operation
• 2nd shift hours – Monday‑Friday, 2:30 pm – 11:00 pm
