Counter Sales Representative

About the role

We are looking for an inside sales person to sell electrical supplies to our various customers in the St. Louis, MO area. You will represent our company in a professional and cost-effective manner and provide ultimate customer service. Advancement opportunities available. This is a full-time position with benefits.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers in a manner that encourages repeat business
• Use computer system to manage sales orders and inventory
• Share knowledge of materials and ensure customers' needs are being met

Requirements

• Ability to work effectively as a member of a team and establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with employees and customers
• Proven working experience
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to lift objects ~50lbs and occasionally lifting objects up to 75lbs is required
• Ability to walk, bend, squat, kneel, push, pull and reach frequently
• Ability to read, comprehend, write, perform calculations, input accurately, reason, and analyze
• High school degree

Pay

The expected pay rate for this position is starting at $18-20 per hour depending on experience. This position is also bonus eligible based on specific and relevant business metrics.

Schedule

This is a full-time, hourly, non-exempt position during normal business hours, 8:00am - 5:00pm Monday-Friday in the office.
