Counter Sales Representative

About the role

The Counter Sales Representative maintains product knowledge, promotes new products, assists customers during the sales and purchase process, and responds to inquiries professionally. This role also supports warehouse functions as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers during the sales process using ERP software while maintaining a professional demeanor.
• Track and fulfill sales orders by picking orders, creating documentation, and placing follow-up calls.
• Maintain and develop customer relationships.
• Stay up to date on product knowledge and generate product stock requests.
• Create and maintain positive working relationships and a safe, clean environment.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year of experience in the electrical industry and/or knowledge of electrical products.
• Ability to effectively communicate, stay organized, and work within a team.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and traverse the warehouse with or without accommodation.
• Basic problem-solving and computer skills.
• Completion of EDGE and EPEC Bronze Level training or commitment to complete within 18 months of hire.

Pay

$20–22/hour plus commission.

Schedule

8 AM–5 PM, Monday–Friday.
