About the role
The Counter Sales Representative plays a crucial role in maintaining product knowledge and marketing new products. This position involves assisting customers during the sales/purchase process, responding to customer inquiries professionally, and assisting with warehouse functions.Responsibilities
- Assist customers during the sales process using ERP software, maintaining a professional sales demeanor.
- Track and fulfill sales orders by picking orders, creating appropriate documentation, and placing follow-up calls.
- Maintain and develop customer relationships.
- Stay updated on product knowledge and generate product stock requests.
- Create and maintain positive working relationships and a safe, clean environment.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent, as determined by Echo Electric.
- A minimum of one year experience in the electrical industry and/or knowledge of electrical products.
- Effective communication, organizational skills, and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and navigate the warehouse.
- Basic problem-solving and computer skills.
- Completion of EDGE and EPEC Bronze Level or commitment to complete such training within 18 months of starting the job.
Qualifications
