About the role

The Counter Sales Representative plays a crucial role in maintaining product knowledge and marketing new products. They assist customers during the sales/purchase process and respond to inquiries professionally. Additionally, they assist with warehouse functions.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain product knowledge and market new products
  • Aid customers during the sales/purchase process
  • Respond to customer inquiries professionally
  • Assist with warehouse functions as needed

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One year experience in the electrical industry or knowledge of electrical products
  • Effective communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and traverse the warehouse
  • Basic problem-solving and computer skills
  • Completion of EDGE and EPEC Bronze Level or commitment to complete such training within 18 months of starting job assignment

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent, as determined by Echo Electric
  • One year experience in the electrical industry and/or knowledge of electrical products
  • Ability to effectively communicate, stay organized, and work within a team
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and traverse the warehouse with or without accommodation
  • Basic problem-solving skills and computer skills
  • Completion of EDGE and EPEC Bronze Level or commitment to complete such training within 18 months of starting job assignment

Skills

  • Ability to track and fulfill sales orders
  • Ability to maintain and develop customer relationships
  • Ability to stay up to date on product knowledge and generate product stock requests
  • Ability to arrange and organize point of sale displays and shelves
  • Ability to monitor inventory levels, rotate stock, and replenish merchandise
  • Ability to ensure all pricing, labels, and promotional signage are accurate and visible
  • Ability to create and maintain positive working relationships and a safe and clean environment
