About the role

The Counter Sales Representative plays a crucial role in maintaining product knowledge and marketing new products. They assist customers during the sales/purchase process and respond to inquiries professionally. Additionally, they assist with warehouse functions as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Market and promote new products
  • Assist customers during the sales/purchase process
  • Respond to customer inquiries professionally
  • Assist with warehouse functions as needed
  • Track and fulfill sales orders by picking orders, creating documentation, and placing follow-up calls
  • Maintain and develop customer relationships
  • Stay updated on product knowledge and generate product stock requests
  • Arrange and organize point of sale displays and shelves
  • Monitor inventory levels, rotate stock, and replenish merchandise
  • Ensure all pricing, labels, and promotional signage are accurate and visible
  • Create and maintain positive working relationships and a safe, clean environment

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One year experience in the electrical industry or knowledge of electrical products
  • Effective communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and navigate the warehouse
  • Basic problem-solving and computer skills
  • Completion of EDGE and EPEC Bronze Level or commitment to complete such training within 18 months of starting job assignment

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent, as determined by Echo Electric

Commensurate with experience

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 5:30pm
