Counter Sales Representative
About the role
We are looking for a Counter Sales Associate to join our team in Williston, VT. This role balances high-energy customer interaction with meaningful operational support.
Responsibilities
- Partner with customers to provide industrial, medical, and specialty gases, welding equipment, and other essential supplies.
- Advising customers on the tools, hardware, and materials needed to complete their projects.
- Demonstrating equipment use and sharing insights on product quality to help customers pioneer new solutions.
- Ensuring adherence to company policies including safety and the use of personal protective equipment.
- Providing excellent customer service to both internal and external partners.
- Aiding in the reconciliation of deposits and managing order entry.
- Coordinating with customers and team members to provide helpful information on costs and delivery.
- Contributing to an outgoing call strategy to support the continued growth and success of the branch.
- Cooking up merchandise between locations to meet customer needs.
- Maintaining a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a supportive manner.
- Stocking shelves and maintaining welcoming showroom displays.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in product, warehouse, or sales environments (equivalent combination of education and unique life experience may also be considered).
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.
- Experience in industrial retail, inside sales, or inventory control is a plus.
- Attention to detail in handling transactions.
- Availability for occasional overtime when the team needs extra support.
- Must be able to operate in a drug-free workplace.
Qualifications

Pay
Pay Range - $27-$29/hr
Schedule
Monday thru Friday, 8-5 hours
