Counter Sales - Hartford, CT

About the role

NorthEast Electrical is seeking a full-time Counter Sales Associate to join their team in Hartford, CT. Shifts are Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm.

Responsibilities

- Taking orders over the phone, in person, and via digital tools. - Entering stock, special, direct, and back orders as required. - Providing customers with information and demonstrations of the online ordering solution. - Supporting the Branch Manager in transferring, warehousing, receiving, and shipping stock and special materials. - Displaying and stocking materials in the counter and showroom. Participating in promotions as needed. - Performing other duties as directed by the Manager.

Requirements

- Strong computer skills, particularly with Excel and website navigation. - Excellent customer service and communication skills, beneficial if related to electrical or construction. - Ability to adapt quickly to changes. - Dependable and possess a strong work ethic. - Team-oriented and capable of working collaboratively. - Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 75 lbs using manual and power equipment.

Pay

Salary range: $25 to $28 per hour plus commission.

Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm.
