Counter Sales Clerk

Duties & Primary Responsibilities

• Greet customers and determine their needs.
• Describe merchandise to customers and answer their questions.
• Enter and pull orders, and complete customer transactions.
• Compute sales prices and process orders.
• Keep up to date on current sales, promotions, and policies regarding products, payments, exchanges, etc.
• Provide product demonstrations to customers.
• Answer the store phone.

Qualifications

• Exceptional customer relations skills.
• Knowledgeable in HVAC service/sales.
• Basic computer skills, including using order management software.
• Able to handle multiple assignments at once.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor.
• Prior two years of industry experience preferred.
• Comfortable answering the phone and making calls on behalf of the company.
• Able to lift at least 50 lbs.
• Basic understanding of HVAC systems, parts, and terminology.
