About the role

As a leading North American distributor for professional contractors, White Cap supplies materials for major construction projects, including stadiums, roads, bridges, highways, and residential housing. In this role, you’ll play a key part in supporting these efforts while delivering exceptional service to our customers.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to walk-in, phone, and will-call customers.
• Process orders, quote prices, enter orders into the system, and provide order information to customers.
• Pull orders as required.
• Communicate product features, benefits, and warranty policies to customers.
• Demonstrate product knowledge and applications, offering technical advice, troubleshooting, and problem resolution.
• Upsell by identifying related products, add-ons, extensions, and informing customers of promotions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated success in providing excellent customer service.
• Experience with sales order computer software, preferably Oracle.
• Knowledge of construction and industrial products.
• Spanish language proficiency (preferred).

Pay

For Washington job seekers: $20.00–$26.50 per hour. This range is based on market data and internal pay practices. Individual base pay is determined by experience, skills, and internal equity.
