Responsibilities
- Provides exceptional customer service through timely, professional communication and resolution of inquiries via in-person, phone, email, fax, and digital channels.
- Manages pricing, product availability, and order status for customers.
- Processes orders, coordinates deliveries, and ensures accurate and timely fulfillment.
- Maintains strong, solutions-oriented relationships with customers, vendors, and internal teams.
- Completes all required training and applies knowledge effectively across branch operations.
- Performs general warehouse duties while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized environment.
- Uses appropriate PPE and conducts routine safety checks on equipment.
- Communicates task status and updates with management throughout the workday.
- Monitors and responds promptly to customer queues to ensure efficient service.
- Sorts, stocks, and labels products accurately per established procedures.
- Inspects returned and damaged goods for accuracy and condition.
- Applies basic product knowledge to assist customers and support sales.
- Sets up and maintains merchandise displays in line with company standards.
- Adheres to inventory procedures for accurate tracking and reporting.
- Verifies shipments and promptly reports discrepancies or errors.
- Maintains proficiency in company systems for data entry, messaging, documentation, and queue updates.
- Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned to support evolving organizational needs.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of customer service experience.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong aptitude for numerical analysis and mathematical operations.
- Skilled in office technology, including computers, scanners, phones, and virtual meeting tools.
Physical Demands & Work Environment
- May require over 40 hours per week.
- Regular physical activity including lifting 25–50 lbs for up to 5 hours per day.
- Operating forklifts and material handling equipment for up to 6 hours daily.
- Frequent bending, squatting, kneeling, reaching, and twisting.
- Prolonged use of hands, arms, and feet.
- Periods of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the shift.
