Counter Driver Associate

About the role

Full‑time Non‑CDL Delivery Driver with counter sales and warehouse backup duties at Stateline Irrigation Supply in Yarmouth, MA. The role is a key customer touchpoint, handling order entry, customer interactions, delivery coordination, and inventory support.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service via phone, email, and in‑person consultations.
• Assist with counter sales and warehouse duties when not driving (vehicle van).
• Accurately process and manage customer transactions at the sales counter using the company computer system.
• Create detailed sales orders and quotes using customer measurements to estimate material needs and project costs.
• Coordinate and schedule truck deliveries to ensure optimal logistics and customer satisfaction.
• Participate in inventory management: cycle counts, order picking, staging, replenishment, shipping/receiving.

Requirements

• Prior experience in customer service or sales preferred.
• Familiarity with point‑of‑sale systems and order entry.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and handle physical demands.
• Valid driver’s license for non‑CDL vehicle; ability to pass pre‑employment drug test, driving and background screening.
• Willingness to work overtime during peak seasons and flexibility to work varied warehouse/outdoor conditions.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required.

Pay

Pay range: $20 to $25 per hour depending on experience (base salary typically $19.00–$20.91 per hour). Starting wage may vary based on location, education, training, and experience. Overtime eligible during peak seasons.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, with overtime during peak seasons. Winter days off/closed (December–March). Flexibility required.
