Responsibilities
- Complies with company policies, all state and federal regulations, and internal controls as relates to this position.
- Conducts the drop on all EGDs.
- Sorts and counts coin and vouchers using counting machines and scanners.
- Completes cash count to vault sheet.
- Prepares money and tickets to be put into counting machine; opens drop boxes, empties money and tickets, clears and resets box.
- Operates counting machines, straps cash, and bags coin.
- Verifies grand total with Casino Accounting.
- Maintains Count Room machines, supplies, and general area.
- Cleans machines, performs preventive maintenance, and cleans Count Room area.
- Employees may be required to perform duties outside of their normal job description where, in the Company’s judgment, it is necessary in the interest of efficiency, productivity, or improved guest service.
Requirements
- Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Three months of related experience and/or training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must be able to read and write in English and have good verbal communication skills.
- Must possess basic math skills such as adding, subtracting, fractions, decimals, percentages, etc.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations including ability to push, pull, carry, and lift up to 25 lbs., and the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel, and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces.

Pay
Starting salary: $16 per hour. Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. Base salary is just one component of our competitive Total Rewards package.
