About the role
We’re looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Count Room Team Member to support the secure collection, counting, and verification of all slot and table game drops. This behind-the-scenes role is essential to casino operations and requires accuracy, integrity, and adherence to gaming regulations. As part of the Caesars Entertainment family, you’ll uphold our Family-Style Service standards while ensuring compliance and accountability.
Position is 4–10 hour shifts. Dual-property role; must be able to work at both Harrah’s and Tropicana. Must be 21 years of age.
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with company standards, internal controls, and gaming regulations
- Remove bill validator drop boxes from slot machines and replace them with empty boxes
- Load dropped bill validator boxes onto carts and transport them to the count room
- Verify cash revenue bags from non-gaming outlets and document any discrepancies
- Trace and match fills/credit slips from table game drop boxes to the Master Game Summary Report
- Operate a G&D machine for currency processing
- Empty table game drop boxes individually and in numerical order
- Remove and fill cassettes from NRT (kiosk) machines
- Maintain availability for scheduled shifts
- Exhibit Caesars Entertainment’s Family-Style Service at all times
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year or more of casino-related experience or equivalent training preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict procedures
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Ability to read and write simple lists, memos, and business correspondence
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
- Ability to work in a secure, fast-paced, and structured environment
- Must be familiar with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations
- Must possess and maintain all applicable regional Gaming card(s) and/or license(s)
