Counselor - Treatment Program

About the role

The Apartment Counselor provides support, skills training, and restorative services to adults recovering from mental illness in community-based scattered site apartments.

Responsibilities

• Develop service plans
• Counsel residents on decision-making, symptom management, and community integration
• Complete documentation
• Assist with recovery processes
• Provide transportation as needed

Qualifications & Skills

• HS diploma required; Bachelor's preferred
• At least 3 years' experience working with adults with mental health diagnoses
• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
• Experience with diverse populations
• Key competencies: recovery-oriented practice, independence coaching, crisis management, cultural humility, effective communication

• Maintain timely documentation
