Counselor/Therapist - Substance Use Recovery (Residential)

Compass Health Network is seeking a licensed therapist or certified substance use counselor to join our Residential team. In this role, you’ll provide individual therapy, treatment planning, and crisis intervention for adults experiencing mental health and/or substance use challenges.
About the Role
As part of a multidisciplinary team, you’ll support clients through person-centered, integrated care—helping them build the tools needed to improve daily functioning and enhance overall wellbeing. This is a full-time, benefit-eligible position.
Schedule
Tuesday - Sunday, 40 hours weekly.
Responsibilities
- Provide individual psychotherapy and support services to adult clients
- Serve as a team coordinator for referrals, waitlists, and client care (particularly in CSTAR/OUD settings if applicable)
- Conduct clinical assessments and complete treatment plans in collaboration with persons served
- Provide triage services during Open Access hours, when needed
- Deliver culturally competent services that align with the unique needs of each person
- Maintain complete, accurate, and timely documentation in accordance with agency and state regulations
- Interface and coordinate care with other internal and external service providers to ensure wraparound support
- Offer crisis intervention services during daytime hours per agency protocol
- Participate in treatment team meetings and quality assurance activities
- Provide licensure supervision (if applicable)
- Meet agency-defined productivity standards and customer care expectations
- Attend all required training and maintain compliance with funders and accrediting bodies
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (experience may be considered in lieu of education)
- At least two (2) years of relevant experience preferred
- Licensure / Certification (One of the Following Required):
- Certified through the Missouri Credentialing Board: CADC, CRADC, CRAADC, or QAP
- Provisionally or fully licensed in Missouri: PLPC, LPC, PLMFT, LMFT, LMSW, or LCSW
