About the role
Responsible for providing direct and indirect services to clients and families.
Requirements
- High School diploma/GED with 4+ years experience in human services, OR
- Associates degree with 1–3 years experience in human services, OR
- B.S. degree with 0 years experience
- Liberal Arts degree in human service-related field preferred
- CASAC certification a plus
- Current BLS/CPR certification and First Aid training
- A valid New York State driver’s license is required
- Participates in orientation and continuing education
- Updates and maintains knowledge and skills related to specific areas of expertise
- Completes population-specific competency annually on populations served as identified in scope of care and service
- Will maintain yearly in-service training
Special Equipment & Skills
- Medium work: must be able to lift, bend, stoop, push, and pull
- Physical demands required to help in physical restraint of a patient

- Clinical setting
- Exposure class I – routine or potential exposure to blood, body fluids, excretions, or secretions
Pay
Pay Range: $23.77 – $31.95 per hour. Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
