About the role

  • Provide oversight and clinical leadership that fosters independence, competency, and empowerment among both staff and individuals served
  • Supervise, evaluate, and guide Counselor-Case Managers while ensuring programming meets state, federal, and BHN standards
  • Manage caseload oversight, crisis response, treatment planning, and utilization management reviews

Responsibilities

  • Provide oversight of programming and milieu management, along with individual and group supervision to staff
  • Ensure staff remains current in all BSAS and BHN required trainings
  • Provide oversight and assignment of caseloads and maintain an individual caseload when necessary
  • Develop and manage group schedules and oversee support requests, developing and implementing treatment intervention plans as appropriate
  • Manage crises within the program, providing immediate support and guidance to staff and individuals served, ensuring appropriate follow-up, documentation, and resolution
  • Monitor the formulation and completion of assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, group notes, and discharge summaries
  • Complete utilization management reviews in a timely manner, working collaboratively with the program Site Coordinator to ensure continued stay for individuals served, as appropriate
  • Attend and facilitate staff meetings and weekly multidisciplinary team meetings
  • Conduct chart reviews to ensure compliance with BHN and DPH standards
  • Monitor service(s) coordination for individuals served
  • Serve as an authorized representative for completion and submission of data into the EIM/ESM business service within the Virtual Gateway Organization Management system, designating and training staff as needed
  • Create staff evaluations, reviewing and receiving approval from the Program Director
  • Maintain direct service productivity as established by the Program and maintain clinical licensure and continuing education requirements

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology, Education Counseling, Medicine, Mental Health, Psychology, Psychiatric Nursing, Rehabilitative Counseling, or Social Work required
  • LADC I, or other independent licensure required
  • Two years of supervised substance use disorder counseling experience and at least one year full-time equivalent clinical supervisory experience required
  • Working knowledge of DPH Bureau of Substance Abuse regulations
  • Two years in recovery preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work within a team setting

Pay

$24.00-$28.00/hr
