About the role
The Counselor will provide both group and individual therapy services to young adults participating in our Substance Use IOP program. This role plays a key part in supporting clients through recovery-focused interventions, treatment planning, and ongoing case management within a structured, evidence-based environment.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate engaging group therapy sessions focused on substance use recovery, relapse prevention, emotional regulation, and coping skills
- Provide individual therapy sessions and ongoing case management for assigned clients
- Conduct intake assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and level-of-care recommendations as needed
- Develop and update individualized treatment plans with measurable goals
- Collaborate with families (when appropriate), referral sources, and internal team members to ensure continuity of care
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation
- Participate in case reviews, team meetings, and clinical supervision to support quality of care
Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in a related field (e.g., counseling, social work, psychology) with licensure (LPC, LCSW, LMFT) or certification (CAADC), or eligibility to obtain.
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field with CADC, or eligibility to obtain.
- Associate’s Degree in a related field with CAAC, or eligibility to obtain.
- High School Diploma with CAAC.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of evidence-based treatment models
- Experience with substance use disorders

Starting at $50,000 per year
Schedule
Full-Time | Monday–Thursday, 9:30 AM – 7:30 PM (Four-Day Work Week)
