About the role
The Salvation Army, an international Christian organization, provides spiritual guidance and counseling to individuals facing various challenges such as addiction, homelessness, and other life difficulties. This role supports beneficiaries' recovery journey through spiritual guidance and rehabilitation planning.
Responsibilities
- Counseling & Assessment:
- Conduct in-depth interviews with new beneficiaries
- Provide individual and group spiritual counseling
- Design and manage individual rehabilitation plans
- Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness
- Lead interactive journaling and group sessions
- Assess and address spiritual needs of beneficiaries
- Program Management:
- Maintain detailed case notes in Service Point database
- Track rehabilitation progress and update plans as needed
- Complete Self-Sufficiency Matrix assessments
- Cookordinate with community agencies for additional services
- Develop and implement special projects as assigned
- Monitor work therapy progress
- Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain secure online beneficiary files
- Complete weekly case notes and progress reports
- Update electronic records within deadlines
- Provide statistical information for monthly reports
- Document service delivery and program outcomes
Qualifications
- Deep desire to help people experience Christ
- Personal testimony of God's faithfulness
- Some counseling experience preferred
- Strong communication and presentation skills
Skills & Abilities

- Intermediate computer proficiency
- Ability to manage confidential information
- Strong documentation skills
- Excellent interpersonal abilities
