Located in the heart of Silicon Valley, the San Mateo-Foster City School District is committed to creating a strong sense of belonging and aims to hire an exceptionally diverse workforce that reflects the students and families in our community. The district educates approximately 10,500 students (representing 50 languages) in preschool through eighth grades across 22 schools, including three middle schools (Grades 6–8), fifteen elementary schools (TK/K–5), three K–8 schools, one Early Education Center, and preschools co-located at six elementary sites. The district also features theme-based schools: Montessori, Immersion (Spanish and Mandarin), and STEM.

Job Summary
San Mateo-Foster City School District is accepting applications for a 2026-2027 Elementary School Counselor at San Mateo Park Elementary. The district accepts up to 12 years of experience.
Requirements / Qualifications
- Must have a Pupil Personnel Services Credential with authorization in School Counseling.

Pay, Schedule & Benefits
- Pay Range: $73,107 - $123,675 annually
- $1,500 stipend for MA & DR
- Paid sick days
- Wonderful medical/dental (fully paid for employee)
- Length of Work Year: 186 days per year + 10 extra days (paid at special rate)
