Job Description Job Description Counselor - Remote Houston, TX Location: Houston, TX - Remote Pay Rate: Starting at $41.00/hour Schedule: Part-Time | 20 hours per week Dean's Professional Services is seeking a dependable, compassionate, and experienced Counselor to support a leading healthcare organization in Houston, TX. This is an excellent opportunity for a licensed counseling professional who is experienced in providing individualized clinical care through behavioral and psychological interventions, assessment techniques, and treatment planning. Responsibilities Provide individualized clinical care using appropriate behavioral and psychological interventions and assessment techniques. Develop and deliver individualized, psychologically based treatment plans based on patient needs. Conduct clinical assessments and apply appropriate counseling techniques and interventions. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of clinical activities, assessments, treatment plans, and patient interactions. Participate in clinical programs, research activities, or treatment protocols as assigned. Perform quality assurance activities to support accurate data collection and documentation. Maintain compliance with applicable healthcare policies, procedures, and professional standards. Protect patient confidentiality and maintain appropriate clinical records. Collaborate with healthcare professionals and other members of the clinical team as needed. Demonstrate professionalism, compassion, and sound clinical judgment when working with patients. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Social Work, or a related counseling field required. Minimum of 1 year of post-master's counseling experience required.One of the following Texas licenses required upon hire:LPC - Licensed Professional Counselor preferred LMSW - Licensed Master Social WorkerLCSW - Licensed Clinical Social WorkerLMFT - Licensed Marriage and Family TherapistLPA - Licensed Psychological AssociateStrong knowledge of behavioral and psychological interventions and assessment techniques. Experience developing and implementing individualized treatment plans. Excellent clinical documentation, communication, and organizational skills. Strong ability to work independently in a remote clinical environment. Professional, compassionate, and patient-focused approach.
