Counselor - Outpatient (Adult and Youth)
Overview
Crossroads Health, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, provides comprehensive behavioral and primary integrated healthcare, early childhood services, and extended housing and recovery services in Northeast Ohio communities.
Responsibilities
- Provides counseling to Adult, Youth and Early Childhood clients.
- Performs diagnostic assessments as necessary.
- Develops client-centered ISPs, monitors, and reviews progress.
- Provides outpatient individual, group, and family therapy to children, adolescents, and families.
- Maintains clinical records within Crossroads’ standards.
- Arranges appointments and collateral contacts, and coordinates therapeutic efforts.
- Participates in outcome tracking.
- Provides direct service to clients in the event of an emergency, or in the absence of an assigned service provider.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree required. Master's Degree in Counseling or Social Work preferred.
- Licensed Social Worker (LSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPC), or Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) required; Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Internationally Certified Marriage and Family Therapist (IMFT) preferred.
- Two (2) years of experience in the mental health field (preferred).
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Team player with excellent crisis management/de-escalation skills.
Pay
$58,000 - $67,000 annually. Starting pay will be commensurate with experience, licensure, qualifications, and internal equity.
