Counselor - LPC - IOP Program
Primary Responsibilities
- Completing psychosocial assessments;
- Implementing and reviewing treatment/discharge plans;
- Facilitate a behavioral health IOP 3 days per week/3 hours per day;
- Facilitating and conducting daily group therapy sessions, family, and individual therapy;
- Maintain Medical Record and department case documentation, including any barriers to goal attainment, progress against goals, and patient/family response;
- Maintain effective operations by following policies and procedures; participating in quality reviews; and reporting areas requiring change or improvement;
- Collaborate with Medical Director on admissions and treatment goals;
- Active participant of the multi-disciplinary treatment teams;
- Develop initial treatment plans with patient and ongoing treatment plan reviews;
- Conduct individual psychotherapy sessions in our traditional outpatient clinic.
Qualifications
- Master's level licensure as a Social Worker or Counselor is required;
- 3+ years’ related work experience;
- Expertise in the needs of geriatric and adult populations;
- Strong therapy and assessment skills;
- Experience in performing brief short-term therapy (e.g., cognitive behavioral therapy or solution-focused therapy);
- Experience developing therapeutic materials preferred.
Pay
Starting salary range is $55,099.00 - 82,638.00, depending on experience.

West Virginia Licensure
West Virginia licensure can be LCSW, LICSW, LPC, or Psychologist.
Supervised Psychologists
