Counselor – Inpatient Substance Use Disorder Treatment

Position Summary

As a Counselor, you will play a key role in supporting clients throughout their recovery. This position provides clinical services, maintains accurate documentation, and contributes to a safe, therapeutic, and supportive treatment environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and review individualized treatment plans with the multidisciplinary treatment team.
• Facilitate individual therapy, family sessions, and therapeutic groups.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in the EHR.
• Provide documentation and support for utilization reviews as needed.
• Coordinate care with referral sources and outpatient providers.
• Assist with after‑care planning and tracking client outcomes.
• Contribute to curriculum development and staff training.
• Help maintain a safe and therapeutic environment, including crisis intervention when needed.

Qualifications

• Licensure: LPC, LCSW, Licensed‑Eligible Resident, or CSAC required.
• Education: Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field preferred.

Skills & Experience

• Strong clinical judgment and ability to respond effectively to crisis situations.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

$50,000 – $65,000 per year
