Responsibilities
- Complete assessment of each client
- Initiate and sustain each individual’s motivation to participate in treatment
- Develop a comprehensive service plan for each client
- Provide daily treatment and curriculum-based education groups
Qualifications
- IAODAPCA certification CADC, or above
- LSW, LCSW, LPC, or LCPC
- Ability to promote positive behavior and manage resistant behavior
- Physical ability to safely and effectively manage aggressive behavior
- Assertiveness, confidence, and leadership abilities
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Effective time management skills
- At least twenty-one (21) years of age
- Valid Driver's License
- Pass physical exam including TB and drug testing
- Pass federal and state background checks
- Satisfactory completion of background screening and applicable pre-employment checks
- Ability to work with computers and necessary software
