Counselor for Community/Mobile Services (Buffalo travel)

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group therapy, support services for families, and crisis counseling
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to perform comprehensive assessments, diagnosis, treatment planning, discharges, and appropriate client referrals
• Develop safety plans to ensure clients' well-being
• Employ evidence-based and trauma-informed care practices
• Respond promptly and expertly to crises
• Facilitate recovery and growth through a harm reduction model

Requirements

• Minimum Master's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, or CASAC-T/CASAC-P
• Professional licensure: LMSW, LMFT, MHC-P, CASAC, CRC, LMHC, LCSW preferred
• Knowledge of a variety of common intervention techniques, common mental health diagnoses, substance use interventions and resources
• Excellent communication skills
• Familiarity with community resources to appropriately link clients
• Minimum proficiency with Windows based software applications
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records databases and basic computer skills
• Adequate experience with a valid Drivers License, vehicle in working condition, ability to travel between sites, and Defensive Driving Course (if required)

Pay

Salary Range Determined based on education, level of licensure/certification, and experience.
Unlicensed Counselors 35 hours per week: $43,500-$51,986.53 per year full time or $23.91-$28.57 per hour part time
37.5 hours per week: $46,607.14-$55,699.85 per year full time or $23.91-$28.57 per hour part time
40 hours per week: $49,714.28-$59,413.17 per year full time or $23.91-$28.57 per hour part time
Licensed Counselors 35 hours per week: $45,500-$57,961.99 per year full time or $25-$31.85 per hour part time
37.5 hours per week: $48,750-$62,102.13 per year full time or $25-$31.85 per hour part time
40 hours per week: $52,000-$66,242.27 per year full time or $25-$31.85 per hour part time

Schedule

Full-time positions available, ranging from 35 to 40 hours per week.
