About the role

Provide behavioral health counseling services. Conduct patient assessments and establish therapy treatment goals. Administer individual and group therapy. Maintain thorough and confidential records of observations. Evaluate progress and effectiveness of therapy interventions. Provide patient with information regarding resources and therapeutic activities in the community. Work directly with the patient, family, physician and community providers to ensure active and collaborative care from the initiation of treatment to the time of discharge.

Requirements

  • Licensure / Certification / Registration: One or more of the following required:
    • A Licensed Counselor specializing in Mental Health credentialed from the Indiana Behavioral Health and Human Services Licensing Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
    • A Licensed Counselor specializing in Clinical Addiction credentialed from the Indiana Behavioral Health and Human Services Licensing Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
    • A Licensed Social Worker specializing in Clinical Practice credentialed from the Indiana Behavioral Health and Human Services Licensing Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
    • A Licensed Therapist specializing in Marriage & Family credentialed from the Indiana Behavioral Health and Human Services Licensing Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Education: Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling or related field required.

Qualifications

  • Experience in behavioral health counseling.
  • Knowledge of clinical assessment and treatment planning.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic knowledge of community resources and referral networks.

Pay

Salary range: $[insert salary range] per year. Salary is commensurate with experience.

Schedule: Part-time, 3 days a week.
