About the role
Student Counseling Services (SCS) is seeking a counselor to provide services to students seeking graduate-level and professional degrees at the OU-Health campus. This includes individual, couples, and group counseling; crisis intervention; case management; and outreach and wellness programming. For those interested in supervision opportunities, the center directs a practicum program for masters-level and doctoral-level students as well as LPC-candidates. We also offer assessment services to support students seeking mental health diagnoses.
Responsibilities
- Provide individual, couples, and group counseling
- Offer crisis intervention and case management
- Develop and implement outreach and wellness programming
- Supervise master’s and doctoral-level students and LPC candidates
- Conduct assessments to support students seeking mental health diagnoses
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, Counseling, Human Relations, or related field
- 24 months of professional counseling experience
- Licensed Master of Social Work, Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Licensed Clinical Social Work, or Licensed Psychologist or ability to obtain one of the aforementioned licenses within 18 months of hire date
- Experience working in a college or university counseling center
- Experience or interest in the provision of clinical supervision to trainees
- Experience or interest in providing outreach and wellness programming to student body / campus partners
- Psych tech experience or psychologists with experience in psychoeducational and/or neuropsychological assessment of ADHD and autism

Pay
Targeted salary up to $60,500 depending on education and experience.
Schedule
Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Travel
Not required
