The role of a Counselor at Pinnacle involves providing comprehensive care to patients, conducting assessments, developing personalized treatment plans, and ensuring the safety and well-being of patients.
Responsibilities
- Provides orientation to new patients regarding the programs' rules, policies, and procedures.
- Conducts intakes, discharge planning, initial assessments, and initial treatment plans within time guidelines.
- Involves patients in the assessment, treatment planning, and intervention aspects of treatment.
- Administers biopsychosocial assessments and reviews patients for high-risk conditions.
- Evaluates patients for mental/emotional status using screening tools and recommends referrals to specialists.
- Maintains and documents patient records, including signatures and dates.
- Provides professional counseling and referrals to specialized services and community resources.
- Schedules and conducts regular counseling sessions, addressing clinical and special needs.
- Attends training sessions and participates in team meetings.
- Collects research data as requested.
Qualifications
- Counselor I: Associate degree in relevant field, registration/credentials for counseling, $20/hour to $21/hour.
- Counselor II: Associate degree in relevant field or majority of approved counselor certification courses, license/certification, $21/hour to $24/hour.
- Counselor III: Certification/License as an Alcohol and Other Drug Counselor, $24/hour to $27/hour (Certified) and $27/hour - $30/hour (Licensed).

Pay
- Counselor I: $20/hour to $21/hour
- Counselor II: $21/hour to $24/hour
- Counselor III: $24/hour to $27/hour (Certified) and $27/hour - $30/hour (Licensed)
Schedule
- Saturday - Wednesday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
