About the role
Operation PAR, Inc. is a non-profit organization offering the full continuum of services for individuals with substance use and/or mental health disorders. PAR has been providing comprehensive behavioral health treatment in west Florida since 1970 through advocacy, education, clinical services, and research.
Responsibilities
- Conducts and documents services such as counseling, psycho-educational groups, psychosocial assessment, case management, and treatment planning.
- Counsels patients on issues related to substance use and co-occurring conditions to facilitate recovery.
- May utilize telehealth services for clinical screenings, assessments, and counseling.
- Provides recovery support services, crisis intervention, individual, family, and community education.
- Documents progress and reviews treatment plans.
Requirements
- Must have a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
- Must be a Registered Marriage and Family Therapy (RMFT), Clinical Social Work (CSW), or Mental Health Counseling Intern (MHCI).
- Must be a Certified Master’s Degree Level Addiction Professional (MCAP), Certified Addictions Professional (CAP), or Certified Addiction Counselor (CAC).
Qualifications
- Ability to write accurately and legibly.
- Moderate proficiency in using Microsoft Windows-based computers.
- Able to type at least 40 words per minute.
- Able to sit for extended periods and move throughout program facilities.
- Able to lift and carry up to 10 pounds.
- Good hearing and vision.
