What You'll Do
- Be responsible for a caseload of clients, as identified by program requirements and in accordance with state regulations.
- Completes required evaluations and assessments.
- Documents all clinical services and interventions performed within the clients ‘electronic record.
- Maintains contact with outside providers to coordinate care.
- Confer with the Clinical Supervisor on a daily basis for casing.
- Participates in weekly treatment team meetings.
- Will be responsible for the Adolescent Program (youth ages 10-17 yrs of age).
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Clinical Supervisor.
- Will be responsible for the RISE Program that serves adolescents from 10 to 17 years of age.
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
- Knowledge of assessment and counseling/therapy principles.
- Considerable knowledge of population being served and available resources.
- Ability to evaluate and screen clients for appropriate treatment and document progress of clients.
- May require crisis intervention to emergency situations.
- Skill in establishing rapport with clients.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a focused team.
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
Requirements
- Minimum associate degree with CADC or Bachelor’s degree in behavioral science or related field REQUIRED.
- 1 year experience in the Substance Abuse Field and/or Mental Health REQUIRED.
- 1 year experience working with the adolescent population REQUIRED.
- Within 2 years, must have obtained certification as CADC (Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor).
Compensation Package
- Salary From $21/hour Commensurate based on experience, education, and certification.
