Delaware Valley Job Corps is an education and training center located in Callicoon, NY. They use student-focused programs to ensure successful training and employment placement for each individual served.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal, educational, and career counseling to students
• Build strong, supportive relationships that encourage student success
• Help students overcome barriers and stay on track in the program
• Develop and manage individualized career and development plans
• Maintain student progress and document outcomes
• Cookordination services and support across departments
• Support leadership when needed

Requirements

Bachelor's degree required (including 15 credits in social services-related coursework)

At least 1 year of counseling or related experience

Strong communication and relationship-building skills

Ability to manage caseloads and stay organized

Valid driver's license required

Schedule

Mon, Thurs & Fri 11am-8pm, Tuesday & Wed 8:00am - 5:00pm, Sat & Sun on call/off
