Counselor 10-Month Partial Care

About the role

Counselor positions are available at a 10-month partial care hospitalization program located in Berlin. The program serves children and adolescents Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a therapeutic and safe environment for all patients.
• Facilitates regular therapeutic groups that address specific identified treatment issues and reinforces the patient’s treatment plan.
• Provides observational feedback within the multidisciplinary team context.
• Accurately records daily patient progress in the medical record as well as completing other required paperwork.
• Rides along with the van driver to transport patients to and from the program.
• Maintains certification in Handle with Care behavior management system.
• All other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• MUST have a bachelor's degree in Psychology or related field.
• Experience With Children In Behavioral & Mental Health.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work or related field required.

Pay

• $20.00-$22.00 per hour
