About the role

Aurora Community Counseling is accepting interns starting in January 2027. Aurora Community Services seeks students aiming to fulfill their internship/practicum hours in counseling.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed professionals in providing mental health and substance use services
• Participate in group and individual therapy sessions
• Support clients in developing coping strategies and problem-solving skills
• Contribute to the maintenance of a safe and supportive counseling environment

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a counseling program
• Passing grade in relevant coursework
