Counsel, Regulatory Compliance

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Counsel, Regulatory Compliance to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space. This role will focus on advising the organization on regulatory compliance matters that affect day-to‑day operations and long‑term strategic priorities. The selected candidate will monitor legal and regulatory developments, help shape internal policies, and support business leaders in navigating evolving requirements across multiple jurisdictions. This is a highly collaborative position with exposure to examinations, audits, and client communications tied to regulatory updates. Location: Remote – US‑based candidates only; no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Track and summarize regulatory changes affecting operations.
• Perform special legal projects supporting compliance priorities.
• Develop communications regarding regulatory updates for clients.
• Lead oversight for regulatory examinations and audits.
• Execute strategic initiatives related to regulatory trends.
• Serve as a subject matter expert during governmental examinations.
• Review and develop organizational policies to ensure compliance.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate required.
• 5+ years of experience in regulatory compliance or legal roles.
• 2 years of subject‑matter expertise in relevant regulatory areas.
• Strong working knowledge of state and federal regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.

Pay

Compensation: $124,353 – $223,838 annually.
