About the role
This role will lead work at the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a healthcare environment.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a subject matter expert on privacy laws within the global organization
- Lead legal reviews for AI and privacy-related products, integrating privacy-by-design principles
- Provide actionable guidance on complex data use cases, including AI initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align legal requirements with business processes
- Develop and maintain internal policies for AI and data protection best practices
- Evaluate proposed laws and support legislative advocacy efforts
- Conduct impact assessments and document data processing activities
- Monitor legal developments in privacy and AI, translating them into business-friendly guidance
Qualifications
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school; active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
- 5+ years of experience in privacy and data handling at a top law firm or in-house legal department
- Expertise in consumer privacy laws and healthcare privacy frameworks
- Strong track record of building relationships across AI, Product, Marketing, and Engineering teams
- Experience negotiating U.S. and international privacy and AI contracts
- Sharp legal judgment and problem-solving skills with ability to simplify complex legal concepts
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-growth environment

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $120,000 – $150,000 annually
