About the role
Remitly is looking for a Counsel, Corporate to advise on a broad range of corporate governance matters. You will advise on securities regulation and compliance, equity administration, entity management and regulatory compliance, capital markets transactions, M&A, and international expansion, among other things. You will report to our Director, Legal and work with dynamic colleagues and partners both in the United States and across the globe. You will also be part of a supportive, and close knit business group, establishing a world-class legal function for a fast-growing financial services company. You will be located in Seattle, WA.
Responsibilities
- Advise on corporate governance and securities laws workflows, including as relates to periodic SEC disclosures, board and committee processes and functions, and compensation and employee benefit plan matters.
