Responsibilities

• Own drafting, negotiating, and executing tailored commercial agreements
• Drive novel agreement frameworks while balancing risk and agility
• Partner cross-functionally to solve complex problems and close deals
• Build scalable playbooks and risk-mitigation strategies
• Identify and resolve legal issues outside core expertise

Qualifications

• 5+ years of transactional legal experience in-house or at a leading law firm
• JD or applicable equivalent with active license in a U.S. state
• Expertise in drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements in fintech and payments
• Experience navigating regulated financial services environments
• Proven ability to manage a high-volume deal pipeline effectively
• Familiarity with generative AI for workflow efficiency and output quality
