About the role

Mechanize is seeking a Counsel to manage legal responsibilities, including handling immigration paperwork and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage legal responsibilities, including immigration paperwork and compliance
• Support the development and evaluation of environments and evaluations for frontier coding agents
• Ensure all activities comply with relevant laws and regulations

Requirements

• Law degree from an accredited institution
• At least 3 years of experience in a legal role, preferably in tech or software development
• Strong understanding of labor and employment law, especially as it relates to international workers
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
