About the Venue

The Amador Club’s private-events offerings in San Francisco are truly one of a kind. Located atop the historic 1908 Bank of Italy building at 550 Montgomery in the bustling Financial District, the club occupies two fully restored penthouse floors that blend the grandeur of original dark wood paneling and hand-painted wallpaper with contemporary luxury settings.

With sweeping city views including the Transamerica Pyramid, Coit Tower, Chinatown, and the Ferry Building from both indoor salons and a private roof deck, Amador creates a dramatic backdrop for milestones like wine tastings, cocktail receptions, executive dinners, board meetings, or photo shoots.

Spaces range from the intimate Coit Bar and elegant Pyramid Dining Room to the atmospheric Wine Cave, a dimly lit room housing a 2,000-bottle, temperature-controlled cellar designed to evoke a French wine grotto. The club also boasts:

• A Cigar Lounge, one of the few indoor-smoking areas remaining in the city
• A main bar with lounge seating
• Private parlor rooms equipped with Bluetooth speakers and electric-mirror TVs (usable as televisions, projectors, or discrete mirrors)
• A billiards room with a Brunswick Treviso table
• Two parlor rooms with Darafeev game tables

While food and beverage menus are not fully public, reviews highlight delicious food, amazing service, and a great atmosphere, noting abundant craft cocktails, whiskies, and wine.
