COTA PRN

Position Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
• Auxiliary residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), upper extremity function, coordination, balance, and functional mobility
• Implement individualized treatment plans established by the supervising Occupational Therapist
• Maintain resident progress and communicate treatment updates to the therapy team
• Collaborate with Physical Therapists (PTs), Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs), nursing staff, and other interdisciplinary team members to support resident goals
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with facility standards

Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Skilled nursing experience is preferred but not required
• New graduates are encouraged to apply
