About the Role

Join TriStar Skyline Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) and become a vital part of a team helping patients regain independence and improve their quality of life. You’ll provide hands-on care alongside Occupational Therapists and an interdisciplinary team in an environment that values your expertise and supports your growth.

Responsibilities

• Administer occupational therapy treatments and adapt interventions as patient needs and abilities change.
• Support patients and families with education, encouragement, and practical strategies for recovery and independence.
• Document patient progress accurately and contribute input to care planning and interdisciplinary team discussions.
• Collaborate closely with Occupational Therapists to respond to changes in patient status and ensure safe, effective care.
• Serve as a trusted resource for patients, caregivers, and colleagues while fostering a positive, supportive care environment.

Requirements

• Associate Degree as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) or Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA).
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) or CPR certification (must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date).
