Role Overview The Licensed Occupational Therapist Assistant - Per Diem provides home-based occupational therapy to help patients regain their physical abilities. Key Responsibilities Follow state-specific laws and the supervising OT's treatment plan.Instruct and assist patients with evidence-based therapy within scope and legal guidelines.Observe, document, and report patient responses and condition changes to healthcare team members.Educate patients, families, and caregivers about therapy techniques.Adapt to diverse home environments and client backgrounds. Qualifications & Skills Current OTA licensure in practice state.Valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, access to transportation, or public transit.Certification with the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (eligible states).Preferred: CPR certification or ability to obtain within 90 days.
