About the role
As an Enhance Rehabilitation occupational therapist assistant, you will work under the guidance of an occupational therapist within a dynamic team. Your responsibilities include assisting in the treatment of patients by following an individualized plan of care developed by Occupational Therapists. You will ensure that every patient receives quality treatment leading to excellent functional outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement occupational therapy treatment programs based on each patient's particular needs.
- Aid patients through all phases of Occupational Therapy treatment and techniques.
- Discuss treatment plans with patients and document patient conditions and responses to treatments in charts after each visit.
- Communicate continuously with Occupational Therapists, Directors of Rehab, and facility staff.
- Operate and apply knowledge of standard occupational therapy equipment.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- A current license to practice as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in the state where you will be working.
- Experience in a clinical setting preferred but not required.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Proficiency in using standard occupational therapy equipment.
Qualifications
To qualify for this position, you must:
- Have completed a Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Hold a current license to practice as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in the state where you will be working.
- Have at least one year of relevant experience in a clinical setting.
- Be able to pass a background check.

Pay
Salary range: $40,000 - $50,000 annually.
Schedule
Hours are flexible and can vary depending on the needs of the department, typically ranging from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
