COTA: Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant

Job Description

The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to assist in implementing the treatment plan for patients. The COTA will support patients in achieving their rehabilitation goals, focusing on enhancing their functional abilities.

Responsibilities

• Aid clients with daily living activities and therapeutic exercises.
• Document patient progress and participate in care team meetings.
• Implement treatment plans as directed by the Occupational Therapist.
• Support patient education to encourage independence.
• Maintain patient safety and comply with all protocols.

Requirements

• Hold a valid COTA license.
• Have relevant experience in a rehabilitative setting.
