Job Summary/Basic Function

• Cleaning of costume closet
• Construction of costumes (sewing, cutting, patterning, dying, etc.)
• Costume crafts (hats, shoes, specialty items)
• Aide to practicum students working in the studio
• Anything else required to meet show deadlines
• May be required to work some late nights and Saturdays

Required Qualifications

• Theater Majors required
• Must have 1 year of sewing experience
• Must know how to work a sewing machine and construct clothing items with minimal assistance
• Must be willing to learn more about the construction process and show improvement
• Must be willing to organize and clean
• Must be willing to work some evenings and weekends

Preferred Qualifications

• Seeking applicants who are Federal Work Study eligible
