How You'll Contribute

We have an exciting career opportunity for a Cost Segregation Engineer to join our dynamic Tax practice in South Florida. This is a great growth opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with knowledge of cost estimation, construction management, or tangible property services.

• Work closely with a dedicated team of engineers and tax experts to help our clients identify advantageous classification of assets.
• Avoidance of construction management and tangible property services.
• Coordinate and collect information from building owners, architects, engineers, and contractors.
• Conduct site visits to collect information.
• Avoidance of providing detailed cost analysis of commercial/industrial building projects.
• Perform quantity surveys from construction documents and physical site inspections.
• Analyze construction cost data and design drawings.
• Estimate construction costs using nationally recognized costing sources.
• Avoidance of actively contributing to the development of the cost segregation practice.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or other relevant fields.
• 1 - 3 years of Cost Segregation experience.
• Ability to understand and analyze construction blueprints.
