Cost Productivity Specialist
About the role
The Cost Productivity Specialist supports enterprise transformation initiatives through financial governance, forecasting, planning, and analytics. The position partners closely with FP&A, Controllership, HR, External Reporting, and Project Management Office (PMO) teams to ensure accurate tracking and reporting of transformation related costs, savings, cash impacts, and balance sheet activity.
Responsibilities
- Tap into curiosity and collaborate with innovative 3Mers around the world.
- Lead key governance activities related to transformation financials, including quarterly balance sheet reviews with Controllership and preparation of monthly CEO approval materials.
- Partner with the external reporting team to ensure proper documentation and representation of restructuring results in published financials.
- Consolidate transformation related inputs across monthly close, forecast, strategic plan, and operating plan cycles.
- Support accurate representation of transformation related results in internal reporting and published financials and communicate updates to senior leadership.
- Partner with PMO teams and cross-functional stakeholders to validate estimates, pressure test assumptions, and provide central Finance guidance on standard transformation assumptions.
- Collaborate with Controllership, HR, External Reporting, FP&A, and PMO teams to align on expected financial impacts and tracking of execution of initiatives.
- Lead short- and long-term financial modeling for transformation initiatives, including cost, savings, cash flow, balance sheet, and stranded cost impacts.
- Owning central stranded cost model and perform other ad-hoc FP&A analysis as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start).
- Seven (7) years of Finance or Accounting experience in a private, public, government or military environment.
- Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field from an accredited institution (preferred).
- Experience supporting financial planning and reporting cycles.
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills across the P&L, balance sheet, cash flow statement.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear, leadership-ready materials.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Qualifications
- Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).

The expected compensation range for this position is $145,676 - $178,049, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
